The Charles City High School Media Center is the school’s hub of information. Students acquire skills to inquire and evaluate information from different formats. Students develop critical skills to analyze and synthesize information for academic and personal use.
The Media Center provides resources for patrons to read or view for personal enjoyment.

No materials may be taken from the Media Center without first being checked out at the circulation desk.
Students are responsible for all Media Center materials checked out in their names.
Students are not allowed to use the Internet without first returning a signed Internet Acceptable Usage Policy (AUP). Blank forms can be obtained from Homeroom Teachers.
No food or drinks are allowed in the Media Center.
Students must have a pass to visit the Media Center and must sign in at the circulation desk.

Check Out Information
Student in grades 9-12 may check-out up to 4 books at a time.
Students in grade 7-8 may check-out 2 books at a time.
There are a limited number of audio books available.
Materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.
You are not allowed to check-out new materials until your overdue books are returned or fines are paid.
