Heather Seahols

Get to know Mrs. Seashols, our Special Ed MH Teacher

Hello!! My name is Heather Seashols.   This is my 11th year teaching and my 4th year at Charles City Elementary School. I have worked in Special Education my entire teaching career. I started teaching Math, Science and Social Studies to 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Largo Middle School in Largo, FL. I then taught Pre-K at J.S. Robinson Elementary in Plant City, FL. This is where they grow a lot of strawberries and have a large strawberry festival every February. I moved to Virginia in 2008 and started teaching in Staunton, VA to be near my parents. I moved to Williamsburg in 2010 and started teaching at Charles City Elementary for a year. I then taught at New Horizons Center for Autism for 2 years. I am now back at Charles City Elementary because I missed the students and families in Charles City. I have enjoyed being back in Charles City County and it is a privilege to work with your student year after year and see the growth they can accomplish.

I was born in Lancaster, PA, but I was raised in Florida and have lived in many states from Virginia to Colorado. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. I also attended the University of South Florida when I first went into college. My current home is now in West Point that I share with my husband, son, 2 step-daughters, 2 little dogs, 2 cats and 6 chickens, they stay in the backyard though. I am looking forward to another great year and even more so for all the exciting changes happening here at Charles City County Public Schools.
